Zoolab visits Stone Bay 2026

Zoolab recently visited Stone Bay School and brought along some fascinating animals for our pupils to meet. The children had the opportunity to see and learn about a range of creatures, including a snake, a tarantula and even a cockroach!
Many pupils were excited to get involved and enjoyed the chance to stroke or carefully handle the animals, with plenty of smiles and brave moments throughout the sessions. Just as importantly, some pupils were able to communicate that they preferred not to touch the animals, which was equally respected and celebrated. Being able to express their feelings and make choices is an important part of developing confidence and self-advocacy.
It was a fantastic experience for everyone and a great opportunity for pupils to learn about animals in a fun and engaging way! 🐛🪳
