Enrichment
At Stone Bay School, enrichment goes beyond the classroom, offering meaningful, hands-on experiences that build confidence, life skills and curiosity.
Our enrichment programme broadens horizons, connects learning to the real world and supports pupils to become well-rounded individuals through creativity, community engagement and practical experiences.
Charity Events: Stone Bay School actively engages in fundraising initiatives for causes like Comic Relief and Children in Need. These events not only raise funds but also foster a sense of community and social responsibility among pupils.
Community Performances: The school encourages students to participate in local cultural events, enhancing their confidence and developing a sense of community. Our Makaton choir has performed twice at the Broadstairs bandstand in front of parents and local residents as part of Broadstairs Dickens week. The choir also performed at Holy Trinity Church at Christmas.
PGL Residential Holidays: Stone Bay School organises residential trips to PGL Adventure Centres, offering students immersive outdoor experiences that combine education with adventure. These trips typically include activities like abseiling, climbing, and orienteering, promoting personal development and teamwork.
Scooter Workshop – Revolution, St Peter’s
Pupils take part in an exciting scooter workshop at Revolution in St Peter’s, developing balance, coordination and confidence in a safe, supportive environment while staying active and having fun.
